OK, I know that it has been awhile, but I think I am in a blogging slump! I just haven't been in the blogging mood. I do however hear that some friends are sick of seeing my snow picture, so this is the only reason I am even doing it... so that I don't feel the guilt. Anyhow, I really don't have anything new to add other then I came across this cute picture of Jackson the night he achieved little manhood and got rid of his crib. He was so excited to be in a big boy bed like his older brothers. So here, to all you faithful blogger's,I will try to improve but don't hold your breath!!! PS... I love seeing your blogs so keep it up!!!!

GOT SNOW???

I can hardly believe all this snow. We have had quite the winter here in Pleasant View. We had about another 2 feet today! I can only remember this kind of snow when I was little. It sure makes it fun for the kids. As for the parents, I am getting really good at shoveling. I pray that it slows down however... there is no where else to put the dang snow!! Happy shoveling!

Let's just add this to the list!!!

OK, as many of you know we had a really expensive month in December. Well, why not just continue the trend in January. Here is are most resent mishaps at the Lower home.

Today we had a huge snow storm. I got the boys all bundled up in there snow clothes and off they went. After they came in I had put some of their clothes by my fireplace to dry them off. I left the room (which I should not have done obviously) and James decided to add the pile of clothes and throws Jackson's snow pants next to the fire. Well, I came in and found this. The pants were melted to the fireplace and the glass was shattered. Needless to say, I had a brake down. I was on the phone with my sister Heather & all she said was "get your kids in their rooms before you kill them." We have since talked about the dangers of fireplaces and the boys hopefully, have learned their lesson. I just can't wait until tomorrow! Hopefully this is a lesson to all of you with fireplaces...never leave anything by them.

Ok I thought this was really funny. Last night Kenny went down to say goodnight to the boys and this is what he found...Zach completly laying on James.

Ok, I have been really lazy on posting. We had a great Christmas and hope that you all did too. Here are some pictures from the Hollidays!

Kenny's family came for Thanksgiving! We had a great time with them. The boys love seeing Mimi and Papa and lets not forget the Aunt's. Let's just say they were extreemly spoiled the entire week! We had Christmas with them since we weren't going to see them at Christmas time!

The boys on Sant's lap.

James was able to write his very own list this year! He as upset the whole month becuse he kept adding things to his list and was worried that he didn't put them on his original list and the santa won't know he had added it. Kids and Christams are so much fun!!!

Our Stake does this Nativity thing at the Church and primary kids can come and do a live Nativity. So here are my little shepards or what every they are! They had fun!!

I was really bad this year and didn't get a lot of pictures with of the boys opening their presents. I do have it all on film. Christmas Eve was a new expreince for our family. We went to Olive Garden and ate and then Kenny had to work so we spent some time their. Then did our family lesson on Christmas and sent the kids to bed. Kenny and I then went out shoveling the driveway and the neighbors. What a BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here are some pictures on Christmas morning.

The boys and their Christmas jammies and slippers on Christmas Eve!

The boys Christmas morning. Can you feel the excitment in the air!!!!

We went to grandma and Grandpa Murphys house for Christmas and had a blast with them. The boys got spoiled with gifts as usual. Thanks for all the fun! Well, that is about it. The boys got everything they wanted for Christmas. James got his new bike, Zach got his Deigo tree house and Jackson just got whatever. We all had great time and can't wait until next year. We love you all!!

Kids.. Can't live with'em can't live without'em

Ok, it is time for a little venting session on my part. This month has been a real dozy of month. Is it just me or are your children all crazy and destructive like mine? It has been a really whopper of a month in terms of destruction caused by one very cute child of mine. You are probably thinking that I am talking about my youngest...oh no, it is of course James. Last month He and Zach and a friend decided it would be fun to throw rocks at the tracker in the field across the street, and yes of course it was my child that hucks a rock at the window and brakes it. That was only a 350.00 to fix and now today the same sweet child has broken my 600.00 recliner. Seriously, are you KIDDING ME!!!!!!!! Can anyone give me some advice on when it is ok to shoot myself. I am really trying to just tell my self..."they are just things Melissa, they can be replaced....James can't." But really, when do you draw the line. I must say that if my mom is reading this she is probably laughing and telling herself..."What goes around comes around,"and I know, I deserve it but ARE YOU KIDDING ME. James I love you and I will just continue keeping tabs on how much you owe me when you become a rich man!
