So Wed we spent the night across the hall from the NICU. It was a sleepless night for me but the best night ever. I felt so blessed to have her with me and felt so scared at the same time. So Thursday, the Dr. came in and released her to Kenny and I and we were on our way. I was so excited to get home and let the boys finally see her in person. It was such a great moment for me as a mom to have my family back together and see how sweet my 3 boys were with her.
I am just so grateful for the trials in our lives. I wish that Sophie didn't have to come to the world this way but I know it was for a purpose. It is truly amazing to see the Saviors love through this little girl. I know that he loves her and that she must have some important work to do. I am so thankful for great friends and family that have all been my personal angels through this. I don't know what I would do without all of you.
Last time in crib!!
This is one happy mom that can't wait to leave the hospital and never set foot in it again!!
Ready to finally go home!!
What a miracle!! And I am sorry it is so much fun dressing little girls!!
James holding her for the first time! He is so excited to have a little sister!

Congratulations!!!! She looks great. I love the picture of Jackson holding her. Cute.
I hear you on trials. Hate the journey, but wouldn't want to be the person I was before them.
Girls are fun to dress. I would think, "Oh, she got a little bit of spit up- better change her outfit."
Congratulations Lower's and welcome home little Sophie! She is beautiful! Can't wait to see her!
I know she is still very tiny but she looks even more so in James's arms. I am so happy she is home and healthy. Congratulations.
Thanks for posting the pics! We've been praying that the boys wouldn't manhandle her. It looks like they're doing well. We're excited for you guys to finally have her home and can't wait to visit again.
How FUN!! Where did you find clothes small enough to fit her? I'll call you later, I have so many questions:)
Yeah! I am so glad you are all home together. I am sorry I haven't gotten up there to see you yet. She is darling, and yes so much fun to dress little girls. Can't wait to see her!
Melissa,
Okay, so I'm a blog hacker! I just joined the blogging world, and I am finding out that all sorts of people have been doing this forever! I just wanted to send my love and prayers your way! Congratulations on a beautiful little girl - and such a miracle! I had no idea you were even expecting again! That little girl will have such a strong testimony to share someday! You know that the Savior has been holding her up through all of this! Be strong, and keep putting pictures of those cute kids on your blog so we can all keep up with you! All my love!
