OK, I am so not the type of person to blog about me but this post is going to be about ME!! My little story begins almost a year ago (which is totally crazy that it has been a year) when I had my little Sophie, well before I had Sophie. As we all know I was pregnant and HUGE. No thanks to me and toxemia. None the less I was HUGE. So after having Sophie, I was desperate to lose the pounds that I had so quickly put on. So my sweet friend dragged me out for black Friday and I purchased a treadmill and started my attempt at losing the pounds. So around Christmas that same friend signed me up for a half marathon. I thought "Yea right, like I will be able to run 13 miles!" Well I accomplished that goal and in May I ran the Ogden Marathon. Then my cousin called and wanted me to run in a relay from Logan to Jackson Hole. Again, "YEA Right!" Well Friday I actually did it. It was so hard and so fun at the same time. And it two weeks I am running my second half marathon. I must say I never ever imagined that I would become a little runner but there is something that feels so good when you are done and you know what you have accomplished. Well that is my storey of how a very overweight girl got her grove back and ended up loving something in the end.
I was hesitant to post this picture but you really needed to see just how big I really was!!!! It still blows me away when I see myself. The saddest part of this is that Sophie was only a 2 lb baby!!! Really come on!
Scary!!!! This was my night run and boy do I look horrible. We had to wear all that gear and I look ridiculous.
Finally my last run and was I wanting to cry! My legs could hardly carry me. I felt like I was dragging 500 pounds. But I finished all my legs in under a 10 min. mile and I must say I am proud of that. (Sorry about the sideways picture I can not for the life of me turn the dang thing.) Well that is the end of me talking about me!

You look amazing! Congratulations on all your runs! You are proof that anyone can become a runner with a little willpower! It's not about shape or size - it's just about mental strength, and you are all over that! Way to go! Where is your next half? Maybe I'll get to see you at one!
I knew you would catch the running bug. It is the best feeling to set the goal and then accomplish it. Congrats! I am so proud of you. I wish we all lived closer so you, Kari and I could do a race together. You look beautiful as always!
