So today we took James to the eye Doctor to check his eyes. He had failed his eye test at his 5yr old check up and then the school sent a note home telling us that he failed the school test too. So sure enough, he needs glasses. He is farsided and has a stigmatism in both eyes. He was really brave and excited to get glasses and I think he looks great!!

Halloween Fun!

Ok, I finally got my camera back so I can post pictures of the boys on Halloween! James if you can't tell is a Vampire, Zach a ninja Turtle, and Jackson was a whole lot of things...it depended upon his mood. They had a blast at the truck or treat and carnival at the chruch.

The boys and all their buddies!

You've got to love this picture! The little stinker wouldn't keep it on...but doesn't he look cute!

Here are some more really scary friends of the boys!

Jackson surgery

Well, yesterday was about the worst day as a mom to date! Jackson had his surgery and everything went great. He got his tonsills, adnoids out and tubes in both ears. The Dr. said that everything was really infected and that he should be a whole new kid in a few weeks. We thought we were going to have to stay overnight becuase he wasn't drinking and our prayers were literally answered. At about 8:00 at night he started drinking and they let us go home. I can't even tell you how thrilled I was. His room had to be the most uncomfortable room ever!!! I still have a back ache from the rocking chair. Anyway, he is doing great and am just a thankful mommy!!

What cute boys!!!

Zachy's bed!

James Bed

I also had to let everyone know what a proud mom I am of my two oldest boys. They are now sleeping in the basement!! They are so excited about their knew room. They want everyone to see their new room. They literally drag everyone down there to see it. I am proud of them for being so brave to face the basement all by themselves!!! Way to go James and Zachy!!!

Well, it has finally happened! My little climber has finally hurt himself. Jackson was eating breakfast this morning while we were reading with the boys and I heard a crash and then crying. I ran in to see what happened and there was blood everywhere. He was bleeding from the mouth and I prayed he still had his teeth. There was blood just gushing. He had a hole in his chin where his teeth had gone through. We took him to the Dr.'s and he had about 8 stitches total. It was truely the hardest thing to have your child straped in a harness and screaming bloody murder and not being able to do anything to help him. With all of what he went through you would think he had learned his lesson, but oh no... after his 4 hr nap, he got right back on the counter!!!!

Catch Up Time

It's been a little over a month since our last post, and a lot has happened! Zach and Jackson's birthdays, especially. Here are some picks of Zach and Jackson's party, Zach's first day of school, our first snow of the year, and the boys' bowling day.

We took this pic yesterday, our first snow of the year. There was enough snow that the boys even rolled a snowman! (You can see a part of it behind them)

Zach, Jackson and all of their buddies at the birthday party.

Zachary's first day of preschool.

Jackson showing everyone how to bowl!

Zach, James, and their buddy Dylan. All three of them bowled an 88!
